David Wever’s practice focuses on corporate matters, as well as contract law, employment law, and administrative law. In addition, David regularly advises clients on banking and insurance regulatory issues. Furthermore, he is experienced in finance with a special emphasis on aircraft financing and registration. David is a general litigator with a focus on corporate, civil and administrative litigation.
The Court has appointed David as bankruptcy trustee (curator) in numerous bankruptcies. He has also worked on plentiful business start-ups involving both domestic and international investors, including the registration and licensing of branches of multinational entities. The latter also involved immigration matters for foreign officials.
David Wever is also well known for his ample experience in debt collection. He assists local and foreign companies by formulating collection claims, placing embargos and if necessary obtaining court orders for payment of debts.
Before joining AMDC Law, David was an attorney at law at VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne, working at the Aruba and Curaçao office. He was a prominent member of the corporate, aviation and energy practice group. He also assisted sizeable telecommunication companies in administrative litigation against the regulator.

David obtained his law degree at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.
